origin: wasteyard was created in the early 21st century when a young lush allegedly attempted to use predictive text while under the influence. The results were as follows "Im at a potty,; Im so wasteyard butch!!

ex: "I'm so wasteyard, man! I love you though.....nah I- I seriously love you!"

ex: "Dude Eddie had some mad beer goggles on last night....did you guys see that man-chick he took to the wasteyard?!?"

1. The main location in a popular video game called Fallout 3 ( Basically a destroyed Washington D . C )

2. The real Washington D . C could still be considered a Capital Wasteland due to crime , crooked cops , crooked politicians , as well as it's strange on again off again gun ban laws that violate the constitution from the same country and so forth.

( example 1 ) Gamer 1 : " I killed a super mutant at the capital wasteland. "

Gamer 2 : " I didn't know you liked Fallout 3 ".

( example 2 ) Man 1 : " I got a job working for the government. "

Man 2 : " Really where at ? "

Man 1: " The Capital Wasteland. "

Wastelander

A person who not only loves freaking out at the annual end-of-days, blast zone celebration known as Wasteland Weekend, but carries that love into the rest of the year, enjoying things such as, (but not limited to), Mad Max, Fallout, The Blood of Heroes, and getting together/finding other Wastelanders to revel in the sun-scorched, bleach-boned, spiked-leather goodness of the post-apocalypse.

After months of raiding, the Wastelanders are gathering and headed to the Mojave to revel in madness and exult in their spoils.

Someone who is beyond blackout drunk, yet somehow still awake and interacting with other people. The rare step a few special people can reach between "totally wasted" and "hospitalized". Usually requires a party or event of shit show proportions.

Being a bum, doing nothing all day apart from the same stuff over and over, and its all done in your own house.

Always being lazy, but staying chilled out, just relaxing and being laid back.

Its a whole life stlye, the way you live, the way you do your work, the way you dress, the way you talk, the way you log on to your computer, the way you do anything.

And yet when the NEED comes you do it, but you do it slowly and at a pace others don't know how to go, and it always seems to get done in a good and decent way.

Suburban Wasteland 

A heavily populated and developed area that lies outside of a major city. It is typically known for it large number of strip malls and chain restaurants. The local populace, or "townies" are usually, overweight, slow (mentally and physically) and have a penchant for shitty Hollywood movies and fast food. Its also known for having large concentrations of children and geriatrics.

"Hey, can we stop at Dunkin' Dounuts, I wanna grab a coffee?"

"We just passed one."

"Oh shit. Well, just keep driving, in this suburban wasteland we should hit another one in about a mile. Wait! There's a Starbucks!"
