A misspelling of vagueposting that either wasn't caught before the post was submitted, or wasn't a big enough deal in the poster's eyes to warrant fixing it. Rarely done intentionally.

Making posts on social media that either

1. Give off a vague feeling of sadness or other emotional issues to prompt others into asking what's wrong and generally shower said poster with attention

2. Talk smack about someone without mentioning them

Two kinds of vagueposting you've probably seen before

1 .Person 1:"Just when you think you know people..."

Person 2: "Awwww is everything alright?"

Person 1: "I don't wanna talk about it"

2. Person: "Yeah you may have my man now but at least I didn't win him over with nudes lol bye bitch "

The act of indirectly posting about someone or something without directly mentioning them or it.

Person 1: I saw what you posted on X last night, that was kind of weird. Who was it about?

Person 2: Oh, I really wanted to say something about how Erin was acting last night, but I don't want to confront her, so I'm just vagueposting about it.

Person 1: Yeah... vaguepost maxxing.
