A transgender person may be labeled as "transtrender" for reasons like:
· Being outside the gender binary eg. non-binary, genderqueer, catgender etc
· Not applying gender standards to themself eg. AMAB identifying as a tomboy, not wanting to be fully feminine or identifying as a "butch lesbian"
· Not experiencing gender dysphoria (other slur for these people is "tucute")
· Showing signs of fetishization eg. AFAB FTM that shows strong sexual interests in yaoi, gay abuse stories, femboys and gay men (women showing these interests are called "fujoshi")
This slur is used both by transgender people, queer cis people, as well as cishet people. Some transgender people reclaim this term.
