tekitou

A Japanese word meaning "arbitrary" in English. It can carry a connotation of apathy. This can be a negative thing in Japan where everything should be precise.

"Bob's wearing a brown belt with black shoes, whats wrong with him?"
"He's just tekitou"

"How short should I cut it?"
"Just do it tekitou, I'll shave it tomorrow anyway"
