To tap on snaps, posts or messages of friends or followees on cellular device social app Snapchat, in order to quickly skip them without actually viewing them. Tapskipping is often done to simply get rid of unread message or unviewed post notifications, or to give Snapchat followees a false sense of validation by causing them to believe that their posts have been viewed.
