A shorter way of describing people who you are "friends" within an online sense only. Your social media companions. You go through your lives together online but not in person.

Jerry: That woman over there is looking at you like she knows you. Do you know her?
Gerry: She looks familiar. (scrolls through phone) Yeah, we're friends online.
Jerry: Do you want to go over and say hi?
Gerry: Nope. She just one of my many somecomps. We don't really hang out in the real world.
