smilace

A mix between "smile" and "grimace," a smilace is the face you make when congratulating a friend on her engagement - to the the man you love; when you're handed back a test with a failing grade and a note in red teacher handwriting: "what happened?" and a frowny face; when someone says, "oh, weren't you invited?" The pained expression used when one can't cry; well familiar to teenage girls.

Good friend: "What's wrong?"
Teenage girl: *swallow* "What do you mean?"
Good friend: "Back there, talking to Gemma. You had a total smilace."
Teenage girl: "Shit. You're right...as always..." *breaks down crying*

A word used to measure the minimum to maximum area a person can smile. Smilage is measured using the circumference of a smile

Ex1: Zakiyah increases Mike's smilage with everything she says.

Ex2: Yo you're maxing out my smilage right now.

Ex3: yo let me measure dat smilage.

Smilage

A bad joke you told that you just can't stop laughing about. You find yourself grinning over your own witty banter long after everyone else ceased politely laughing at the joke.

The joke can often otherwise be characterized as a dad joke, pun or weird inside joke.

That joke I told Cindy about 'tearable puns' sure gave me a lot of smilage.
