The discussion regarding the appearance of Zwarte Piet (sometimes translated as "Black Pete"). The appearance is believed to be offensive by some to people of African or Australian Aboriginal ancestry, and not offensive by others.

(n.)- The fan controversy that surrounds a ska band changing their sound and moving away from the genre. Often seen as a betrayal by ska fans and usually engenders accusations of "selling out".

The No Doubt Skatergate controversy enters its seventy-first month as ska fans continue to demand a reinstatement of horns and guitar upstrokes into prominent positions within the band's sound. Frontwoman Gwen Stefani declined to comment.

Stergate 

Stergate: A dark period in major league baseball history when Roger "the Rocket" Clements appeared before a judicial committee to defend his innoncence in his alleged use of steroids.

I was watching ESPN last night and saw the Rocket get hammered at Stergate, brutal. He was pitching some of his best fast balls.
