simulisten

A portmanteau of simultaneous and listen, a simulisten occurs when two or more people in an IRC channel, on Facebook, or on a message board decide to listen to an album simultaneously. Usually accompanied by unanimous praise and multiple users quoting the lyrics.

Adam: dude bro wanna simulisten that new eminem shit
Billy: shit yeah bro gimme a sec to queue it up
Adam: okay ready, 3 2 1 GO
Billy: fuck yeah
Charlie: what are you two idiots doing
Adam: we're simulistening the new eminem joint, you in?

singlisten

The act of intermittently singing and listening to a song during the lyrical parts as opposed to singing along.

I can't help singlistening to (insert name of your favorite band) whenever I hear them.

I wanted to sing along during the show but the lead singer was so good I ended up singlistening.

My vocal range is bad so I have to singlisten whenever I jam out in my car alone!

simulist

An individual who is distressingly committed, to the point of failing to eat food, sleep or associate with other carbon based life forms, to building authentic looking and working cockpit mock-ups, both military and civilian, of aircraft, spacecraft, water-borne craft and ground vehicles using computer simulation.

After losing a few pounds, Del, an avid simulist in the throws of a new aircraft cockpit build, was reminded by his sister the only thing he would be flying if he didn't eat would be a pine box.
