Quamlisk

Played for laughs, “Quamlisk” is a made-up slang invented by an up-and-going chess meme content creator in YouTube, known as “Blunderfish 64”.

In Blunderfish’s chess meme contents, chess pieces are portrayed as sentient beings that are able to not only communicate with each other but also put up strong attitudes against each other, including the usage of this made-up slang against other chess pieces.

Considering the thematic aspects of Blunderfish’s chess meme contents, “Quamlisk” is most likely portrayed as an insult against somebody perceived to be a mere tool that is disposable, vulnerable and/or incompetent like a typical pawn, which has the most limited movements in the classic versions of chess, as well as the majority of its foreign counterparts.
Villain: “Those pawns… they were just as useful as disposable tools. How can those little quamlisks match my power?!”
Hero: “It’s because of the power of compassion, that they were able to find their true potential, which you failed to see for yourself. So tell me, villain… who’s the real quamlisk here?”
