An idiot (hence, pyramidiot) who believes that the pyramids of Giza were built by aliens / atlanteans / mammoths / invisible pink unicorns. Usually related to those who believe that some re-carved glyphs at Abydos are in fact depictions of helicopters / UFOs / submarines / jet planes etc.
Pyramidiot: "I have inconclusive, random and completely and knowingly mis-interpreted data to suggest that the so-called Khufu's pyramid was, in fact, built by aliens with the aid of mammoths"
Person B: "You, sir, are a pyramidiot!"

1. A person who believes pyramids have special (often regenerative) properties and powers. May be obsessed with pyramids in general, or in particular with the Giza pyramids in Egypt, which they may believe were built by aliens, super-beings, the gods, etc. Probably really into Edgar Cayce.

2. A particular kind of (Western) tourist found in Egypt. They travel in large groups and can be seem performing rituals in pyramids, for which they have religious/supernatural reverence, or nearby temples. These rituals can include humming and chanting, joined palms raised, while standing on one leg.
1. Is that book on the pyramids by a serious scholar or just another pyramidiot?

2. Man, I took some friends out to the pyramids and a circle of pyramidiot tourists scared the crap out of me with their eerie chanting. Why can't they just take photos like normal people?
