What happens before something.

ie, "the haps" are to what happens at a party as "the prehaps" are what happens before it.

1. When you don't want to do something, because it sounds like it is going to be shit.

2. When a call is disputable, or just bullshit.

Note: Can be used sarcastically in either of these situations.

Guy 1: Wanna go to the Edgy? its gonna go off

Guy 2: Prehaps.
