An affectionate term for Palo Santo, aka Bursera graveolens, a wild tree native to Mexico and the Yucatán Peninsula to Peru and Venezuela.

Known for its aromatic smoke, it smells like a jar of pickles before it's ignited.

I was having a hella stressful day until I lit a stick of picklewood and had a bowl. Now I'm feeling zen af.
