The act of killing a phone, or when a phone is killed. Most cases of phoneicide are committed by technology incompetent individuals, and most cases are dismissed. It is still a crime, and action should be taken.

Phonicide

When a phone is tired of living as a phone or being owned by a human who it does not like, it kills itself, ala, breaking its own battery or making its human drop it.

One of the many reasons why phones do not last very long.

Tom: Dude, my phone just died on me. I only had it for a few months.

Martin: Did you check the battery?

Tom: Yes, it leaked out and fried the circuits.

Martin: It must have committed phonicide...it must have hated you...

When A person(usually teenager) cracks their own phone screen on purpose.

Person 1: Hey did you hear lists' phone cracked

Person 2:Really didn't she get it yesterday

Person 1: yea but it wasn't the 5s so she committed phonocide to get another one

Dude 1: "Man, I accidentally washed my phone with my clothes again! That's the fourth time!"
