pentromance

An attractive word that describes the non-sexual relationship between five friends that are inseparable as they share a very intimate bond with one another. It may be used as a noun or a verb.

The slightly altered Latin prefixes may change as appropriate as more friends become involved: tromance, quadromance, pentromance, etc.

Person 1: Are Alex, Dylan, Mimi, Lily, and Mark coming over for our Harry Potter marathon tonight?
Person 2: Why don't you just call them the pentromance? They are pentromancing after all...
