meeting steady

Is meeting a person with out any strings attached and continues on to fine out more about the person before going into a comited relationship.

However can also mean meeting one person for a long period of time whilst still meeting other people but the usual is meeting one person is like a relationship.....

Sarah: oh where meeting steady
Aidan: yeah just me and you no strings attached
