Usually a word that describes a conservative northern Nigerian girl who wraps herself up in baggy clothes, scarves, hijabs, abayas and refuses to socialise openly - often employing a forbidding attitude to appear unapproachable.

2.'She's good example of a pastoral malobabe just coming to find a life in the city.'
