Live and Let Live

Live and Let Live is an idiom in which expresses the idea that all should be able to live their lives in the manner they want to, regardless of what other may think of them.
Example 1: I don't care what they do! Live and let live, I always say. Your parents are strict. Mine just live and let live.

Example 2: They seem as a society to have a very live and let live attitude towards issues like gay rights.

Live and Let Die

"Live and Let Die" is originally a song written by Paul McCartney. The lyrics refer to a young naive person saying Live and let Live. But after being exposed to more of the world and becoming worn down by it, he says Live and Let Die meaning I'm going to what I want and everyone else can get screwed.
"I am so tired of everyone taking advantage of me. I'm going to Live and Let Die from now on!"

live and let live

1. an orientation toward life that makes existence bearable and often allows even the most tenuous social relationships to remain intact

2. a practical, loose-and-easy life philosophy that is, for whatever reason, incredibly difficult for some people to adopt
I'm not sure why he dislikes me, I always liked him. Oh well. Live and let live, as they say.

Live and Let Live

you should tolerate the opinions and behaviour of others so that they will similarly tolerate your own.
John: "Mrs. Hudson, how many times? Sherlock was not my boyfriend."
Mrs. Hudson: "Live and let live, that's my motto!"

Live and Let Die

"Live and let live" is a often heard expression of philosophy meaning "I will live, and I let others live too."

This idea was compared to "live and let die" for the spy movie, meaning "I will live, but I will let all others die." This is a less peaceful, more dangerous philosophy, appropriate for a spy movie...'007
When you were young and your heart was an open book
You used to say live and let live
(You know you did, You know you did, You know you did)
But if this ever-changing world in which we live in
Makes you give in and cry

Chorus:
Say live and let die
Live and let die
Live and let die
Live and let die

What does it matter to ya?
When you got a job to do
You gotta do it well
You gotta give the other fellow hell

You used to say live and let live
(You know you did, You know you did, You know you did)
But if this ever-changing world in which we live in
Makes you give in and cry

(Chorus)

Live and Let Die

The 8th James Bond film from 1973, and the first of seven films starring Roger Moore. The film is unique as it's the only film so far to have a sole African American lead villain, as well as henchmen. The bond girl was Jane Seymour in her first major film.

The title song, written and performed by Paul McCartney and Wings was one of the most popular songs of the year 1973 and one of the most popular Bond songs period.
"My name is--- Names are for tombstones baby, waste him now!"

"It's a matter of life, it's a matter of death!"

"Live and Let Die is the 8th film of the James Bond series."
