a walk or trek, usually of significant distance, usually out of necessity due to lack of alternative transportation. Although this type of journey was originally of the arduous type, it has become more of a sought-after social activity especially in the night-life realm due to its nature of promoting comradery, adventure and good times. Term coined by the Z-boys in Boston circa 1999.
The party ended and no one had cash for a cab so we decided to lace-em-up.
