- Kyudo literally means “the Way of the Bow”. It is the Japanese martial art of archery
- Kyudo is often described as “standing meditation”. The student of Kyudo learns to control the breathing and the mind, not becoming oblivious to his surroundings, but rather becoming acutely aware of them. This teaches the practitioner to react calmly and resolutely to his environment.

All kyudo archers hold the bow in their left hand and draw the string with their right, so that all archers face the higher position (kamiza) while shooting

Kudo Shinichi

Kudo Shinichi is a death magnet who 'One day, when he was at a theme park with his childhood sweetheart, Mouri Ran. He encountered some men in black involved in some shady business.' Being the noisy hot meitantei we all know him as, he followed and watch them trade guns with cash. Being extremely interested in the shade, he failed to notice the other man in black sneaking behind him and knocking him out with a stick/baseball bat/pole (depends on which movie/anime episode you were watching) and fell unconscious.

For some unknown reason, Gin was feeling weirdly kind and decided to feed him the pill that our favourite girl Miyano Shiho aka Sherry was working on at the time. So Shinichi swallowed it and guess what? He shrunk, into an identity he now currently use most often, Edogawa Conan.

A: He's such a Kudo Shinichi, no matter where he go something bad happens, like a murder or a robbery.
B: But he's so hot and smart and popular!
A: Exactly.

kudostorm

The annoying flurry of congratulatory e-mails following some successful event. The kudostorm is exacerbated by people "replying to all" on a large distro list again and again.

After the successful network upgrade last night, there was a kudostorm all morning. 50 annoying e-mails all saying "great job guys" from people I don't even know, about an upgrade I didn't work on!

Originating on the fanfiction website Archive of Our Own/AO3, “You have already left kudos here. :)” is the message that appears when a registered user tries to leave an additional kudos on someone’s work, despite the one-kudos-per-work limit.
