1. An activist who focuses primarily upon education and the distribution of information in order to effect political or social change.

2. A citizen journalist or member of the alternative media.

As an infowarrior, I tend to focus on spreading important news whether domestic or international rather than focusing on what Britney Spears did today as the mainstream media often does.
