1. A person who is inflexibly ideological, unmoved by any amount of contrary evidence, a pathological ideologue. 2. A person who makes up his mind on issues based on political affiliation instead of evidence.
I don't know if Bush II was an ideopath on the subject of global warming, but he seemed like one when he continued to deny it's existence after his own science advisor took the contrary stand.
