iGoon

1. Most often people in the "nerd/dork" demographic that seem to think they have transitioned from "nerd" directly to white collar crime status with either the purchase of massive amounts of tech. product, or simply gotten accepted to a notable (and usually purchased) tenure at a modern tech. school. Can be seen in areas of technology employment as well and is demonstrated in the attitude of thinking they are going to be the next big tech. star, media hack. Most defined with the repeated, template like renditions of film industry depictions concerning organized crime, though usually done so draped with words they memorized that morning.

2. Obvious victims of fashion and modern advertising.

It was all I could do to refrain from smashing the iGoon and his listening device as his Crackhead Trinity worship continued to spill over into everyone else's life within the confined area common with public transit.

Igon Value Problem 

"the Igon Value Problem: when a writer’s education on a topic consists in interviewing an expert, he is apt to offer generalizations that are banal, obtuse or flat wrong" (Steven Pinker, NY Times 11/7/2009).

Pinker coined the term in his review of a Malcolm Gladwell book. Gladwell had quoted an expert speaking about an “igon value” -- the correct term is eigenvalue, a basic concept in linear algebra.

Gladwell's "Blink" is basically a worthless book because of the Igon Value Problem.

iGoogle 

A prime example of a good product with a really bad name. Formerly Google Personalised Homepage, in a rare mistake by Google they chose to rename it using the faux Apple and now meaningless 'i' prefix, meaning 'Internet'. You mean Google is on the Internet now? Ugh.

Irooni

What you call someone from Iran. It's not "I-ranian", it's "Irooni".

Irooni's aren't ALL Persians, like most people like to think. People from Iran can be either (or a mix of): Persian, Kurdish, Azeri, Baloch, Gilaki, Mazandarani, Lur, Arab, Turkmen and many many other cultures.

Iroonis can be diverse, but they all love their Iranian Nationality.

Iran is a beautiful country with beautiful people, it's a shame that most Westerners are brainwashed by the media and have a distorted view of Iran and Iroonis.
