hurt life

In parts of southeast Michigan..Hurt or hurt life (more extreme form of hurt) is used to describe somthing that is generally displeasing.

" I wish I never took this class..it hurts life"

" Yo stop farting in my car..wow you guys hurt life"

life hurts

A phrase people use when they can't take life anymore. Your life is messed up and you're struggling to fix it. You've given up and are just done.

Person 1: "Hey are you alright?"
Person 2: "Nope. I've tried and tried getting things right again, but I just can't."
Person 1: "Oh. I'm sorry :("
Person 2: "Life hurts and I'm just done."
