hospitabilize

To take someone in and be hospitable to them, usually against their will. The reverse of overstaying your welcome, when you just want to pop in but then you have to sit down and catch up and everything else.

Bro: Where you bin dude?

Dude: I just went to drop the camera off at Ted's but he was home and he made me come in and have a cup of tea and then he talked at me for hours, I couldn't get away.
