A term used as both a slur, or a term of camaraderie, depending on the context.

Generally thought to be synonymous with 'clown' or 'schmuck' when meant as an insult, though is open to interpretation with consideration of the context and the relationship of the altercation or dispute.

First used by the character Mac, in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Oh, ey, look at the gebrone, drivin' all over the road!

Ay, wassa maddda wich you ah? You're insulting me now? I thought I was your gebrone!
