flutterbuy 

Refers to an attractive female's “purchasing” of a mushy-hearted male's compliance/forgiveness/assistance/generosity by giving him a wheedling smile and batting her eyelashes. Often spoken about in a disgusted/sarcastic tone by a fellow male who was not present at the time of said “transaction”, and so he cannot really have any way of knowing for sure if HE HIMSELF might have been hopelessly “melted”, also, if he had been in his buddy's shoes. Daisy Duke is known to be something of an expert at this sort of thing, frequently using her beauty and charm to mellow the otherwise hard-nosed Hazzard County officials and get them to go easier on her two somewhat-reckless cousins.

Recently-arrived museum ticket agent: You mean to tell me that you let that giggle of girls in for FREE?!?!??? Are you outta yer mind, dude?!??

Starry-eyed ticket agent whom he is relieving: Oh, I couldn't help it... they gave me such warm sweet simpery smiles and flapped their long exquisite eyelashes at me in such an alluringly flirty manner that so I just couldn’t bear to charge them anything.

Recently-arrived museum ticket agent: Ahhhh... they pulled the ole' “flutterbuy routine” on you, did they??

Social Fluttershy 

The antonym of a social butterfly. A person who, due to unholy amounts of shyness, is unable to hold a conversation with someone he or she does not know well.

Kevin: The date went pretty well. If you consider we hardly talked at all and mostly stared at the food in front of us.

Michael: Come on, man! You need to be bold to get a chick!

Kevin: But Mike, you know how much of a Social Fluttershy I am!

Fluttershychosis

The state of mind reached when a usually meek, demure, and gentle person is pushed past their limits of frustration, tolerance, or anger, and lashes out in an uncharacteristic and frightening fit of untrammeled rage.

In the "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" Season One episode entitled "Best Night Ever", kind-hearted pegasus-pony Fluttershy's inability to make friends with Canterlot's local fauna causes her to develop Fluttershychosis and chase the panicked animals into a gala ballroom, her gown and mane all disheveled and dirty, madly screaming, "...you're...going...to LOOOVE MEEEE!!"

Fluttershy 

The yellow pony from My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic.
Fluttershy is a pegasus (Has wings) and as her name describes her, she's usually timid and quiet, but she will always stand up for her friends.

She's one of the main characters of MLP, and has yellow fur, turquoise eyes and a pink tail and mane.
Her cutie mark consists of three pink butterflies with a blue body.

Fluttershy also has a passion for animals, and usually spends her time in the forest with them, but she's scared of adult dragons.

She came from Cloudsdale, a city up on the clouds above Equestria. Fluttershy wasn't as good in flying as the others, and was bullied and was called names like Klutzershy, but Rainbow Dash stood up for her.

Fluttershy 

Possibly the cutest cartoon character ever made. From the series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (MLP FiM) She is known for her incredible shyness, love of nature, and being the most kind, caring, thoughtful being in existence. Emotionally unstable at times, she tends to be afraid of everything, and at one point hid from her own shadow, while at other times, such as when she or her friends are endangered, goes into a rage that can make a full grown dragon cry. She also has an unnaturally strong connection with animals, and can understand them where others cannot. She had a staring contest with a cockatrice (a creature who's stare turns you to stone) and won, scaring the living hell out of it in the process. She represents the repressed person in all of us.

Flutterby 

The origin of the name for an insect with colorful wings that is currently called a "butterfly", is a "FLY" that eats "Butter". Going even further back, the root of the name goes back to the dutch origin "Butter Shitter", because the dutch thought the insect poops on the butter.

Therefore, because of the incredibly non-sense name for this insect, I propose to re-name this beautiful insect as "Flutterby", which is a far more accurate name for it.

What a beautiful flutterby!
