In golf, even rarer than a hole in one, is a dunzee. This is when a ball is sent from tee to the cup, without ever touching a blade of grass. The number of shots required to get to the cup does not matter. An eagle, birdie or a bogey can all be dunzees, as the only requirement is the ball can not touch grass.

The ball must thus land in the cup, on the fly, either from the tee or a sand trap, or another surface that is not grass, such as pine needles or clay. If this is the case, the player may claim to have earned a "dunzee" which is among the rarest accomplishments in golf.

A dunzee holds no significance other than to mark an exceptionally bizarre occurrence.

The origin of the "dunzee" is believed to be the first documented account of the feat during a tournament in Pittsburgh, PA in the early 1980s. The late, Donald Dunzee Wolff, Jr., a local golf icon, managed to win a tournament while hitting his tee shot into a fairway bunker, his second shot into a greenside bunker, and his third shot into the cup, on the fly. It earned him a birdie, but the means by which he did it was quickly dubbed a "dunzee."

He had effectively hit his ball over 435 yards, into a cup, without ever touching a blade of grass.

The dunzee is so rare it is almost never seen in tournament play, especially among professionals, for obvious reasons - they are intent of the ball landing in the grass. And even if their ball did land in a bunker, the thought of hitting the cup on the fly is technically a bad shot, though a lucky one. It almost never happens, but when it does, it is referred to as a "dunzee."
A golfer tees up his ball and drives it into a bunker. On his/her second shot, the ball lands in another bunker. On their third shot, the ball lands directly in the cup, never touching blade of grass. The golfer has earned a "dunzee."

A part which serves no useful purpose.
In the original series of Star Trek Captain Kirk was referred to as Captain Dunzel by another Starship Commander. This was because the Enterprise was being operated by the M5 Computer and not the crew of the Enterprise. Because Kirk did not have a crew to command he did not have a useful purpose.

Dundee Chop

This is a term used in live multi-table poker tournaments (MTTs). It describes a deal made between a ridiculously high number of remaining players in an MTT. This form of deal (aka "chop") is particularly popular in Dundee in the UK hence the name Dundee Chop. However, a Dundee Chop can take place in any poker tournament in the World. Anyone who takes part in a Dundee Chop should be ashamed of themselves for not having the balls to carry on in the tournament.
Say 40 players entered a live multi-table poker touranament. Normally you might expect the players to play it out to a winner or agree a deal (sometimes known as a "chop") when short-handed (about 6 players or less). However, a "Dundee Chop" occurs when there are a ridiculous number of players still left in the tournament (relative to the starting field). Say in a 40 player tournment the last 10 players agree to chop the prize pool evenly - that is definitely a Dundee Chop. Another famous incidence of a Dundee Chop occurred in Edinburgh in 2009 when 18 (eighteen) players chopped a tournament at the Gala Maybury Casino.

dundee test

A straightforward test carried out in nightclubs to ensure the chick you're chatting up is a chick and not a chick with a dick.

The test is performed simply by grabbing the subject by the groin to see whether or not you cop for a pair of bollocks. The test was famously carried out by Mick 'Crocodile' Dundee in the film of the same name, and is thus named after him.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
