The text (sms) version of the noise that is made when someone tells a zinger of a joke. It is phonetically buh-da-chahh and is made from the sound of a drum and a symbol, hence "drum drum symbol."
Person 1: crap i'm going to have to look hot at the soccer game.
Person 2: just go naked!
Person 1: but then i'd be cold! drum drum symbol! (get it? because soccer is outside? in the fall? and the fall is cold?)
