This is when a person is so closely intertwined with their group of friends, anyone who tries to date them will discover that the aforementioned person is completely lost without their social clique support, resulting in mostly group outings.

Bert: You know that chick Mary I've been seeing? We're going out for a few drinks tonight.
Ben: Nice, dude! Think you'll get any action?
Bert: No, because she insisted that her entire crew of Missy, Maggie, Marva and Melinda come along with us.
Ben: It sucks being stuck in a cliquationship like that.
