combination of the words "chode" and "ponytail". used to describe when a girl with short hair ties her hair back, thus producing an absurdly small ponytail.

Oh god, look how ridiculous my hair looks like this. It's a chonytail.

Coontails

Several dyed pieces of hair (usually found on the heads of scene girls) That are striped horizontally with a different color of hair, made to look like the tail of a raccoon. They are often worn as extensions (bought from hot topic) rather than actual hair.

Scene Girl 1: Hey, did you see Carol Chaos's new green and black coontails? aren't they rad?
Scene girl 2: Well, they would be...if they weren't extensions.

a long, strange piece of hair on a girl's head that is dyed in a horizontal stripe pattern, usually in a combination of unnatural colors like white, pink, orange, blue, etc. good for scene girls who take themselves way too seriously.
