Dudesan Chicksan is used as a courtesy title in Japanese-speaking areas as a suffix to the given name, surname, or title of the person being addressed, regardless of age or gender: Yamamoto san; sensei-san. You don't speak Japanese, can't pronounce the name, or you just don't know their name so you just add Chick. Or it's just one one of your pals.

Chicksand

A word made by Damon Wayans Jr's character, Brad, on the show Happy Endings. It's a play on the word "quicksand" and basically means digging yourself deeper into a relationship you don't want.

Dave: I banged this chick last night, now she thinks we're exclusive.

Brad: Damn Dave, you are stuck in chicksand.

A webpage that captures an individual in an endless stream of consecutive page clicks. Typically found in wiki-style websites where users are presented with paragraphs filled with branching informational links on a number of topics. The more one struggles to complete the sequence of links, the harder it is to escape. May result in browser crashes due to tab overload.

chiksan

Oilfield equipment, heavy duty steel flexible "hoses" used for high pressure pumping up to 20,000psi, mainly for liquid cement. Also used during well testing to flow oil and gas from a well to a separator. Lengths of chiksan are connected by hammer unions, tightened by belting the nut lugs with a sledge hammer. Oilwell drillers and their roughnecks use chiksans daily and become very adept at connecting them together in often complex circulation manifolds complete with valves, tees, crossovers, straights, swings, swivels, 4 ways...always covererd in grease and grime but ever reliable. Chiksans have been around the oilpatch for ever and are an integral part of any decent rig's equipment.

Chicksand

Chicksand - Used in the abc Network show " Happy Endings" when the character, Dave, played by, Zachary Knighton, has a fling with a new girl and it develops into an unwanted relationship. Brad played by, Damon Wayans Jr., coins the word "chicksand" to explain Dave's predicament.

The masculine form is "Dicksand".
