A side effect of being sprung. This includes being hugged up, cuddled up, kissing, whispering sweet nothings, pretty much anything that can be done within close proximity in public. It’s extremely mushy causing others to feel embarrassed or jealous at times, but the couple are so engrossed in each other that they never notice.
