bartleby

A Bartleby is a person who is hired for a job, shows up to work every day, but refuses to actually do the job. From the short story "Bartleby, the Scrivener, a Story of Wall Street" by Herman Mellville.
That new salesman turned out to be a Bartleby, he hasn't made a sales call in the 3 months since he started.
