To automatically assume that what someone is presenting is too extraordinary to be true and furthermore is most likely a hoax. This radical skepticism is the opposite from the gullibility of the autobeliever, or one who automatically assumes extraordinary claims to be true at face value.

A term describing a person who cannot stop the compulsive buying of cars he does not need.

My neighbor is like a sad and preoccupied king, a neighborhood idol in his own mind, washing and waxing his fleet of metal, glass, rubber, and chrome; he is known as the autohoarder.
