artsolete

The idea that all digital art is created with technology that will eventually become obsolete. When the technology that created the art reaches obsolescence, the art is free to become a master-work. When only the art remains, no more of the same art can be made in the same way because the technolgy no longer exists. Any art that was created to look like it would be an interpretation using newer technology, reinforcing the idea that all art is derivative.
The art that was created using Commodore 64 computer will soon become artsolete, because there are no longer artists using it, and there are no more Commodore 64 computers left.

A combination of 'absolute' and 'obsolete.'

This is the idea that nothing is ever really 'absolute' in the universe, and that things are destined to become 'obsolete.'

It is used to reference cynical ideology preventing progress and growth.
It was once thought impossible to fill a gigabyte of data...

Space travel is impossible...

The world was flat...

These ideas are now absolete because they were considered to be solid fact and yet were proved otherwise.

Arthlete

Marching Band members; as they are involved in both arts and sports as marching on the field is equivalent to doing athletic sports. Being able to perform on the field carrying heavy instruments and playing good and challenging music while memorising the drills and keeping with their tempo AT THE SAME TIME, makes them eligible to be called an 'Artist' and 'Athlete'. Thus, by the combination of the word 'Art' and 'Athlete', there comes the word 'Arthlete'. Last but not least, the marching band is also a kind of sport.
These awesome kids should be called 'Arthletes'!

They are beyond the level of what Artists and Athletes can do! They are definitely should be called 'Arthletes'!

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.

Eternity leave

When some resigns or retires from a job, they are on "eternity leave". This can also refer to someone who has passed away, especially someone who worked somewhere for a long time, retired/resigned, then passed away later.
Oh I'm sorry, you didn't know that Kelly is on eternity leave? She resigned and moved to Hawaii!

With regrets I would like to inform you that my boss is officially on eternity leave. I will never see or hear them again. Ever.
