1). Someone who screams way too much (TOS definition)

2.) A young person who is very intelligent (ST:XI definition)

Both definitions are based off of the Star Trek character of Ensign Pavel Chekov, USS Enterprise navigator.
1.) "Didi you see him during that scary movie? He was being such a Chekov. I couldn't hear right the rest of the night.

2.) That kid's a real Chekov. He's got a 4.0 grade in advanced physics.

When famous Russian playwright Anton Chekov is featured as a background character in the beginning of a film, just to be the most important aspect of the climax later on, or a twist villain.

this concept is purely theoretical and has never been seen
(example of a possible Chekov’s Chekov)
Protagonist: “please, have mercy!”
Antagonist: “it’s over, you cannot fight anymore”
Protagonist: “wait… is that… ANTON CHEKOV???”
Chekov: “and I have a gun
Antagonist: “NOOOOOO”
Chekov: “looks like the only useless element in this movie is ABOUT TO BE YOU!”
