Short/slang for "You Heard Me?". Typically it's used rhetorically & a response is not warranted.

Any of the following phrases could be substitued for it depending on the context and/or the user's tone, "That's crazy, right?", "Know what I'm saying?" or "No bullshit!".

It's commonly used in urban areas, most frequently by those influenced by hip-hop/rap culture. Big in Chiraq and the Midwest right now.

It's pronounced quickly, as one word w/two syllables: Yerd-me.
Ex 1. Hey folk, I'm finna cop me a rillo right quick, Yurdme?

Ex 2. What's poppin kinfolk? Yurdme?

1. Exclamation usually in salutatory fashion, two times out of ten followed by Zaddem.
2. When followed by -em (i.e. Yerdem) it acts as a noun.
"YERDME? YERDME? Yerdme!?"
"Yerdem is amazing."

Refers to men who reside in yards in deprived areas of London. These men are partial to phat spliffs and phat dragons as well as a game of backgammon.

Yardmen are usually admirers of grime music and are often found hanging with UK grime artist, Giggs.
The Langley road yardmen were playing backgammon with a phat dragon.
