A person who ubruptly and inappropriately offers random facts and information barely related to the conversation, and act as if any one cares.

Jeff: "Man, this is a good ham sandwich"

Wikipeter: "Did you know America's Surgeon General was asked what item he would ban if he could ban any substance, he didn't choose any drug, he chose bacon, crazy huh?"

Having a friend or teacher educate you to the fact anyone can put something on Wikipedia, and the reference you used was made up.

I was researching 9/11 and found out from the Wikipedia sit that it was a CIA plot.
Man, you have been wikipeed on. Anybody with internet access can put something on that site.

wikipedestrian 

A term to describe an individual who initially accesses Wikipedia for reference purposes, but after navigating through interesting wiki links finds themselves minus half a day and plus a growing collection of Wikipedia windows; each spanning vastly different topics.

John: I was using Wikipedia to find info on a band I like; next thing I knew it was four hours later and I had 30 Wikipedia windows open.
Jane: You're such a wikipedestrian.
John: This is never going to catch on.
Jane: That's because you're not selling it, 'find info on a band'? Please, that sounds so fake.
