A Weeaboo is someone who is around the age of 40 and thinks they know about Japanese culture, they don't. They get what they think Japan is like from anime. They disrespect Japanese culture by doing butchered Japanese dialect

"Anime is for weeaboos," he said, as he sat down on his bed to watch K-On! on his laptop while wearing a Naruto t-shirt.

North American people, who somehow enjoy watching watching anime, for some fucked up reason, that normal people will never understand.

A cry of fear from those who exhibit a phobia of imported items; just as most PETA members don't even realize how many items they have that are made out of animals, so do most people who say "weeaboo" not realize that many products they purchase are not from their own country.

A derogatory term for a person who mentions anything about Japan (sometimes other Asian cultures too). Often shortened to weeb.
Originally it was a term for usually white people with an unhealthy obsession for and belief in the absolute superiority of japanese culture, called "wapanese", "wannabe japanese" or "white japanese". However today it has lost that meaning and became a simple insult to shame anyone for knowing anything about Japan.
Since japanese culture (or Asian culture in general) is relatively or becoming more popular in the west, the existence of the term could stem from an unspoken inner belief of one's own western culture being challenged.
