To suddenly quit a job without reason or warning and without another job lined up. Someone will most commonly "Up and Craig" when they are extremely unsatisfied with a new job responsibility or task. Often times, the person who up and Craig's will dissappear for a while so the previous employer cannot contact him.
I knew he didn't want to work on telephone poles now, but I didn't expect him to just up and Craig.
