Subscriptions r a trap!
One subscription, per month - perfectly doable for a single person
Ten subscriptions,per month - A problem.
Lets say 1 subscription is "only" $5 dollars... per month
Just saying "its only $5", and completely forgetting
abt the "per month" part is a very slippery slope.
"only" $5 * 12 = $60 per year
...for ONE subscription.
If you have more than 1 subscription of the same value,
multiply that $60 with ur amount of subs.
Lets say u have 10 subscriptions at $5 each:
$60 * 10 = $600... per year
that is 1 avg humans rent, per year.
But it doesnt end there, oh no.
Some subsciptions, cost more than "only" $5 per month
lets say... $25 per month.
$25 * 12 = $300 per year. For ONE subscription.
Now take ALL ur subscriptions
& add their "per month" numbers together(simple math)
That is what u spend - per month.
on things u barely use/need/want
Now multiply THAT number with 12 = per year.
Many hundreds, if not thousands of $$$
straight down the drain. Per year.
Bc its too hard 2 cancel subscriptions (thats on purpose, btw)

That ,if you do not earn enough to cover it...
Is how you fall into a lifetime of debt.
A Sub-trap
If those subscriptions, and/or other purchases
were forced upon you, for "whatever reason" 🤔
that is called "Coerced Debt"
