That one guy who hangs out with people who aren't really his friends. Spikes always think they are your friend, no matter what happens. If you ever meet a Spike, never encourage it. They may seem welcoming but can become dangerous after a long period of time.

Spike: "Can I be your friend"
Person: "No thank you"
Spike: "I don't care what you think, I'm your friend"

A particularly frustrating and violent (and usually loud) skype conversation. Usually with a grandparent or someone unused to modern technology. It doesn't start well and ends even worse.

Child: Hello? HELLO? Grandma can you hear me?
Grandparent: HELLO? HOW DO YOU WORK THIS THING? ARE WE SPIKING?!
Child: Grandma click the volume button!
Grandparent: WHATS GOING ON?! I DON'T SEE YOU. CAN YOU SEE ME?! SPIKE ISN'T WORKING!
Child: *mimes turning up volume*
Grandparent: THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS. I'M GOING TO CALL YOU!

a vampire that likes to drink and hurt Angel. He was on the series Buffy, then later moved to Angel (The greatest show ever)which was recently cancaled...did I mention he likes to drink.

Spiking

In theatre, it is the act of placing tape on a stage indicating to an actor where he, or she must be at an important point in the play. This occurs periodically during blocking and usually involves glow-in-the-dark tape.
