Snowverkill 

When the local news outlets make an average snowfall look like it's going to be the end of the world.

The local news station said we were going to be hit with a monster blizzard but that was total snowverkill because we only got a dusting.

A weather condition consisting of heavy snow after a snowpocalypse. This storm follows only days after the snowpocalypse which the city has yet to overcome from, perpetuating the mass panic and sense of despair.

Billy: "Hey, they finally plowed my street and I was able to dig my car out, fucking four days after the snowpocalypse"

Fred: "Better run out and get bread, milk and TP! We are getting another 20 inches tonight!"

Billy: "Fuck, that's snoverkill"

Noun. A complete over-reaction to the prospect of, or result of a few inches of snow.

Tarquin: Did you here Washington DC is expecting a couple of inches of snow tonight?
Lucian: Actually, yes. The public transportation has shut down, the Fed is closed for the next week and all the stores are sold out of bottled water and toilet paper. It is complete snoverkill.

snoverkill 

Having a lot of snow in an area that normally gets very little snow and is ill-equipped to deal with it, then getting another snow storm right after things are beginning to return to normal.

I was finally able to dig my car out and here comes another foot of snow tonight. Enough with the snoverkill already!
