Can also be spelled Shunicorn. It is a beautiful shoe you own. You cannot find its mate but it is too good to throw away. You will never wear it and it makes you sad.
Why do you have those beautiful single shoes on your shelf at work.

They are Shoenicorns and I am just thankful to be able to look at them

Phoenicorn 

When a Unicorn and a Phoenix really love each other, they create a Phoenicorn together. Unicorns and Phoenixes (really cool magical people) can adopt babies without legally adopting them, creating Phoenicorns. The mothers of Phoenicorns are generally Unicorns, and the fathers are generally Phoenixes.
Because my mother was Unicorn and my step-father was a Phoenix, I am a Phoenicorn.
