Sechelt 

Very boring town on theSunshine Coast,which is in British Columbia Canada.
No good shops.
Rednecks,hicks,losers,prejudiced Snobs,whores etc.
Can only be reached by ferry from horshoe bay or Powell river, though it is not an island but a peninsula.
In the native language it means "Land between two waters".
A place known for its expensive housing and low employment.
The place i live in.
Sunshine coast and Sechelt often are used to mean the same thing.

-On ferry-
Person:So...why you going to sechelt?
Me:I live there.
Person:Haha,burn.That must suck.
Me:It does.

Sechelt 

A town on the southern Sunshine Coast peninsula between Powell River and Gibsons known as Shishahl (Land between two waters) by the local indigenous peoples who originally settled prior to westernization.

"Where do you get your smokes in Sechelt?"

"I get them from Big Mac's."

A particularly strange individual (in a good way). Generally resides in their own world, and doesn't care what others think of them. One of the most real, loyal, funny, and strangely attractive people you will meet. Very good at extinguishing sexual tension and making suggestive noises. Their habitat mainly consists of darkness and video games. Usually very blonde with porcelain skin. Refer to their genitalia as their "little thunderbolt".

sechel 

Practical judgement and the ability to think clearly so as to make good decisions. Someone acting with "Sechel" means they have street smarts, can sum up calculated risks, and anticipated consequences, while also being thoughtful and caring. So it's the whole enchilada in the decision-making process. The term comes from Yiddish and originates in the Bible (1 Samuel 25:3 describes a woman with good judgement).

You have innate talent, but without sechel, you're not going to make the right decision.
Use some sechel: don't bring all this stuff with you!
It doesn't take much sechel to know that you shouldn't leave your wallet lying around.
