When you become frustrated with someone because they are not taking you seriously, are in denial or disbelief.

A shopper is asking a store employee where the eggs are in the grocery store and the employee says they don't carry eggs (when obviously they do), and you're like pshish!

A woman is in labor but husband doesn't believe her because baby isn't due for a week. Woman walks away from husband muttering pshish under her breath.

Suspicious due to a high likelihood of being part of a phishing scam. Most applicable to emails, IMs or messages on social networking sites.

This email that claims to be from PayPal seems awfully phishy... seeing as they want my username, password, credit card information and first born child.
