Recording something on VHS, which is the antiquated technology that historians tell us preceeded TiVo (as in: Pre-TiVo)

My DVR is broken, so I'll have to get the VCR out of the attic and Pre-Vo the game so I don't miss anything.

prevorce 

When a forever couple who are living together and basically (but not legally) married breakup, sparing them both the moral and perhaps social baggage of a future divorce, but not the pain-in-the-ass reality of dividing the pet dog, the flat screen TV and the car loan payments.

It's a shame, Tommy and Gina have been together since high-school...man this prevorce is going to be messy.

Premeditated evolution or intentional change.

In nature, organisms evolve, but w/o premeditation. As humans, we can change our behaviors & adapt before we're taken out of the gene pool by changes we can foresee.

The manager of the warehouse realized she needed her staff to prevolve to the coming changes in equipment.
