Pentaccostal

The infamous ultra-pushy hypocritical religious organization that makes you feel almost forcibly delayed ("accosted") when their overzealous members arrogantly approach you about joining their faith and/or attending their services, yet they themselves perform acts of blatant dishonesty and aggressive rudeness that even an openly-hardened atheist would probably never do. Can also loosely refer to any form of unwanted religion-based harassment, no matter from what denomination.

Pentecostal Holiness

Articles of Faith (in a nutshell):

We believe there is one God made up of three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in miracles; we believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the baptizing in the Holy Spirit ("baptism by fire"). We do not believe that one must be baptized in the Holy Spirit in order to be saved. We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, and that He is the only way to Heaven. We emphasize a personal relationship with God.
NoobToob is Pentecostal Holiness, and many others.

pentecostal

A Christian denomination founded in 1901 on Asuza Street in Los Angeles, California. During a time when racism had made its way through Christian denominations and split the faith by skin color, people of all different ethnicities became entangled in love with the birth of the Pentecostal Movement.

Particularly different from other denominations, Pentecostals believe that miracles, signs, and "gifts of the Spirit" are still operational in modern society. The gift that occurs most frequently in Pentecostal churches is glossalalia, also known as "speaking in tongues." Most often manifests itself, not in speaking other human languages, but in speaking in the tongues of angels (1 Corinthians 14:2, 1 Corinthians 13).

Pentecostalism is the fastest growing Christian denomination in the world by conversion and arguably makes Christianity the fastest growing religion. (Islam is the fastest growing religion by birth, but Christianity is the fastest growing by converts.)

There are many different groups within Pentecostalism itself: some which believe in the Trinity, others which deny it and believe in the Oneness of God; some which baptize solely in Jesus' Name (Acts 2:38), and others which baptize in "the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost"; some with very strong standards for women (i.e., not cutting their hair or wearing pants), and others with only standards of modesty.

It should be noted that the Charismatic Movement was birth out of the Pentecostal Movement. While all Charismatics are (consequently) Pentecostals, all Pentecostals are not Charismatics. Popular televangelists like Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, and Creflo Dollar are Charismatics who are teachers in the "Word of Faith Movement." They are not classical Pentecostals.
The Assemblies of God, The Church of God in Christ, the United Pentecostal Church International, The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, The First Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, are among many organizations that are classified as Pentecostal.

pentecostal fart

A loud, long, voluminous, and smelly fart, with reference to Acts 2:1-2 in the King James Version of the Bible, where Jesus's disciples are visited by the Holy Spirit in an upper room: "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting."
She: OMG!!! I've never heard a fart go on as long as that and so loud. Open the windows or we'll all suffocate!
He: Yea, amazing isn't it. Every time I eat curry, I fart like that. I call it my pentecostal fart.
She: You're bad.
He: I know.

pentecostal

Pentecostals believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. they believe in the manifestation of the Holy Ghost through speaking in tongues(but not required to be saved). Salvation is through accepting Jesus Christ. Your life should reflect your relationship to Christ, but "Good Deeds",wearing long skirts and not wearing make-up DOES NOT make you saved and is according to your own conviction.Pentecostals are not isolated from other denominations but agree on a common ground that they are saved through Jeus Christ only, and are separated only by different ephasis.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast" -Ephesians 2:8,9
Pentecostal Christians emphasize the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts.

Pentecostal

Pentecostals believe in One God and have many standards. There are rumors that it is a "cult". It is not and they do not believe that because a person cuts their hair or wears pants or make up that they will go to hell. They believe everyone who is filled with the Holy Spirit will presumably go to Heaven. Pentecostals welcome anyone and everyone. Also God is the only one who can judge for He has no sins. Only a person with no sin may judge others.
Steve "Pentecostals say that everyone who cuts their hair will go to Hell."
Carol " That is not true!! They believe that only a person who has no sin may judge. If a person if filled with the Holy Spirit then they will go to Heaven."
