Pawney 

A word with the true spelling obscure, a spelling including a capital Z, lowercase x and the number 7. Used to describe the act of taking a food in a ziploc bag, mushing it up into a ball, and putting it on a plate and exclaiming (in phonetic terms) "PAAAAWWWWWNNNNEEEEYYYYYYY", with an accent on the AW and NEY vowels.

Give me your sandwich, I wanna make some pawney. *smush smush smush* PAAAAWWWWNNNNEEEEEYYYYY.

Pawleys Plantation 

a gated, virtually all white community situated on a golf course in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, located to the south of Myrtle Beach. Many residents of Pawleys Island are middle aged transplants from the north and midwest of the U.S., who claim to have moved south "for the warm weather," "to be near the beach," or "to play more golf." Yet many of these same people seem to see nothing morally wrong about living in a neighborhood whose name contains the word "plantation," which for anyone with any kind of a liberal mind evokes horrific images of slavery and racial segregation.

Pawleys Plantation has a staff of guards at the front gate, twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year.

pawleys island 

Pawleys Island, South Carolina is a beautiful coastal town to the south of Myrtle Beach. It is known to locals as the "low country" or called "arrogantly shabby." Pawleys Island constitutes a stretch of Highway 17 with the Atlantic Ocean on one side of the highway and the creek front on the other. This quaint location is a Southern person's dream.

I wanted to live somewhere where I could walk to the beach, know my neighbors, and witness Southern Hospitality at its finest, so I moved to Pawleys Island.

Pawnee, Indiana

Pawnee is a city with low operating costs and a sizable labor pool. Its infrastructure is efficiently developed and its citizens are moderately well educated, making it an acceptable location for business. Growth in Pawnee is slow and steady, but Pawneeans say that what isn't bolted down can be improved. The city is dedicated to maintaining its progress through reasonable expansion and sound planning.

Pawnee is not a tourist Mecca, but this fact has made it a somewhat desirable location for those looking to get away from the crowds. Whether it's taking in a community theater play in the park, guided tours of old Wamapoke hunting and burial grounds, or just shopping in a chain store on Main Street, there's always at least one thing to do on the weekends. The city has several hotels.
